Especialização e MBA

The specializations and MBA comprise what is known as stricto sensu lato sensu..

Most of UFPR's specialization courses last one (1) year. There are available both free and paid courses, the last one needing an application for a scholarship, which consists of exemption of any fees. To obtain the certificate, students must complete all mandatory course modules, achieve a minimum attendance rate of 75% per module, and attain a minimum score of 70% in the aggregate assessments conducted.

Some courses require more than this minimum, and it is the student's responsibility to inquire with the course coordinator about the approval criteria and obtaining the certificate. The Final Course Project (FCP) can be completed in the form of an article or monograph, to be defined by the course coordinator. Students who submit and have their FCP approved will be awarded the specialist certificate; students who complete all credits with approval but do not submit the FCP, will be awarded a perfecting certificate.

Learn about UFPR's Specialization Courses

The courses opening new classes are available on the PRRPS pageUFPR's specializations do not follow a single calendar like undergraduate courses, as they can start activities in any month of the year, from January to December. For this reason, PRRPS suggests that those interested in enrolling in specializations view the courses on the link above, and if interested in any, contact the course coordinator through the provided telephone number. Only the coordinator can provide information on registration dates, selection criteria and dates, classes, days of the week, fees, scholarship selection criteria, etc.
