UFPR POSTGRADUATE STUDIES INFO
Postgraduate Studies at UFPR could be Stricto Sensu (Master’s and Doctorate) or Lato Sensu (specialization). Both are attuned to the highest contemporary demands for excellence in knowledge production, aligning research, teaching, and outreach. It currently offers 92 stricto sensu graduate courses, 110 specialization courses, 120 undergraduate courses, and 333 outreach courses.
The Scientific and Technological Initiation Program is designed for undergraduate and high school students who wish to engage in scientific, technological, and innovation research. Find more information on the following links:

- 66 programs offer both Master’s and Doctoral degrees
- 25 programs offer a Master’s degree only (academic or professional)
- 1 program offers only a doctoral degree (Bioinformatics Network)
- 76 postgraduate programs are academic
- 16 postgraduate programs are professional
- 13 postgraduate programs are offered as a network (with UFPR hosting the Professional PGP in Philosophy, Environmental Engineering and Technology, and Bioinformatics, and participating as a hub for the other programs).
